A letter for today. A message for your future.

Dear You is an iPhone app for private reflection. Each day, choose what you'd like — encouragement, calm, a fresh start, courage or gratitude — and open an original letter matched to it. Write back privately, keep an Open when… shelf for hard moments, and seal letters to your future self that open on the day you choose.

The evidence

There is a version of you that other people see and you rarely do. The one who answers kindly when someone else is struggling. The one who kept going through a season that would have flattened anyone.

You don't have to feel confident today to be that person. Confidence is not a mood. It is a record, and yours is longer than you think. Somewhere in it: every hard thing you did while quietly believing you couldn't.

Borrow a little faith from the evidence. Stand the way you'd tell a friend to stand. The feeling tends to follow the posture, not the other way around.

One small step: Stand up, roll your shoulders back, and hold the posture you'd tell a friend to hold — for one full minute.
